Whip Mix Mounting Stone is a very hard, fast-setting Type III gypsum material formulated expressly for mounting casts to articulators. Its very low setting expansion (0.08%) prevents inaccuracies in occlusal cast relationships that can occur with conventional model stone or plaster, and it can also serve as a model stone when a rapid set is required. Supplied as white, pre-weighed 100 g packets, 100 per box, with a 2-3 minute working time and 5 minute setting time.
