Knit-Pak is a non-impregnated gingival retraction cord made from 100% cotton in a knitted construction, used for tissue displacement before impressions, digital scans, and crown and bridge procedures. The interlocking knitted chains carry more hemostatic solution than twisted or braided cord, pack easily into the sulcus under pressure, resist fraying and popping out, and cut cleanly if touched by a bur. Each container provides 100 inches (254 cm) of Size #0 Purple cord, and the dispensing cap includes a built-in cutting blade so no separate scissors are needed.
