Perma Sharp® absorbable sutures are braided from polyglycolic acid with fast absorption (PGAFA) and are designed for efficient, reliable soft tissue closure in all types of dental procedures. The C-3 premium reverse-cutting needle features a 3/8 circle, 13 mm geometry with a finer point for smoother penetration and precise placement, and is laser-drilled from a proprietary stainless steel alloy to reduce tissue disruption and breakage. PGAFA retains strength for approximately 14-17 days and is absorbed in about 49-63 days. Each suture is 18 inches long, undyed, size 5-0, and supplied 12 per box.
