Perma Sharp® absorbable sutures are made from undyed braided polyglycolic acid (PGAFA) for fast-absorbing, reliable soft tissue closure in dental procedures. Each suture features a C-3 premium reverse cutting 3/8 circle needle with a finer point geometry for smoother penetration and precise placement, laser-drilled to reduce tissue disruption and made from a proprietary stainless steel alloy for greater strength and less breakage. PGAFA retains strength for 14-17 days and is absorbed in 49-63 days. Supplied as 4-0 gauge, 18" length, 12 per box.
